I recently bought My Sims for my Japanese Wii console. The game also is coming up in Japanese.?

I don’t have this problem with any other game. I bought the game in Europe and it is a European version but when the game loads the menu and all the text comes up in Japanese which is strange.

you must have got the Japanese language version by mistake. perhaps there is a language options icon on the start-up page to switch to english. Does the box it came in have a ‘help’ web site link listed?
